Wisconsin River Levels Fall At Significant Rate
Weather
Wisconsin River water levels are continuing to lower at a significant rate, according to emergency management officials in Sauk County.

Department of Natural Resource Engineers told them they believe the threat for possible levee breach has greatly reduced.

Sauk County Emergency Management has canceled the recommended evacuation from Indian Trails near Lake Delton to the Columbia County line along Levee Road. Levee Road still remains closed to through traffic.

The slow, no wake rule on the Wisconsin River remains in effect until further notice, according to officials.

Residents whose homes were flooded can get clean-up, mold remediation, well testing and other information from the Sauk County website at www.co.sauk.wi.us and then click on the Emergency Management Department.

Clean-up kits are available at Sauk County Emergency Management, which is located on the first floor of the courthouse.

Sauk County homeowners who had damage due to the Wisconsin River flooding or have questions can call emergency management at 608-355-3200.
