Baraboo Firefighters Respond To Apartment Fire | News

Firefighters responded to a structure fire at an apartment in Baraboo on Wednesday morning.
Baraboo Fire Department officials said they were called to 11th Street at about 10:45 a.m. after a nearby neighbor heard glass breaking and saw smoke coming from the apartment building.
Crews said they arrived at 1127 11th St. and found a working fire inside one apartment of the four-unit apartment building.
Firefighters said they were able to extinguish the fire within 15 minutes of the call. There were no injuries and no residents inside the building, officials said.
Fire officials said there was extensive damage to the apartment. They said the residents are being assisted by the Salvation Army. The remaining apartments and hallway sustained only smoke damage, fire officials said.
There are no damage estimates and the investigation is ongoing, fire officials said. They said the fire is not suspicious.
